The introduction of Forms and Weapons
The following is a brief introduction of main forms and weapons that are provided at our school. Students can choose any forms according to their own level. We can also give students proper suggestions or advice according to their practical situation.
一Bagua Palm
Bagua Palm belongs to the Chinese Traditional Martial arts. It’s an Internal form. Its creator, Dong Hai Chuan, created this form during the time of Emperor Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty, more than two hundred years ago. Bagua Palm is mainly focused on the palmworks and walking, and it is the gateway to combine martial arts with the breathing techniques, internally and externally to achieve effective offensive and defensive boxing.
二Xingyi Fist
Xingyi Fist is one of the most famous Internal Fist in China. The style is fighting directly, striking fast like lightning. It was created at the beginning of the Qing dynasty, “control the Qi in your mind, feel the power of Qi in your body, combine your mind and your bodywork”. It has 5 Elements and 12 boxing styles and also belongs to animal fist.
三Taichi
The creator of Chen style Taichi is Chenwangting, his hometown was in Chenjiagou, Henan province China. The characteristics are as follows: the movements are continuous and flowing, the waist and back acts like an axis, creating enough power for the whole body, and making all parts of the body move in unity, combining softness and hardness. Taichi is one of the three Chinese Internal forms. There are other Taichi forms: Yang style Taichi, Sun style Taichi, Wu style Taichi, Wu style Taichi etc.
四 Shaolin Boxing
As to the specific moves of Shaolin Boxing they should be not absolutely bent nor absolutely straight. Two sayings that demonstrate this are, “goes on a straight line” and “a boxer can practice where only one ox can lie down.” The main stance of Shaolin Kungfu is bow stance. It requires you to stare at your oppenents’ eyes and shoulders and keep your arms and elbows forming an arc. There are a great many forms:
Fist forms: Da hong quan, xiao hong quan, luo han quan, cha quan, pao quan, mei hua quan, qi xing quan, tan tui, shaolin dalijingangtui.
Weapon forms: broadsword, spear, sword, staff, nine-section whip, rope dart, double hook hand, miao dao, two-section staff, dagger.
五 Joint Locks
Joint Locks is one of more comprehensive techniques that need lots of intellgence and power. It can help you defeat your opponent by attacking the joints around the body..
六Sanda training/Kick Boxing
Sanda Attacking and Blocking training mainly focuses on kicking your opponent from far away, then throwing your opponent when close. It is one of the combat techniques that emphasizes the kicks.
七 Chinese Throwing
Chinese Throwing is one of the Martial Arts that involves swinging, turning, rolling over, throwing, sweeping, kicking, blocking, tripping, lifting, and twisting each other.
八 Xinyiquan
Xinyiquan is created by Yuefei who was a General during the Song Dynasty. Its characteristic is the mind coming from your heart and the mind can change into the forms.
Xinyi is based on imitation of the dragon, tiger, horse, monkey, chicken, harrier, swallow, snake, bear, and eagle. Copying their movements as they avoid predators or catch their prey. It is one of the famous Chinese Internal forms.
九 Link Arms
It is created by one of the Taoist priests whose name was Situxuankong and his Taoist monastic name was White Ape Old Man. Link forms belong to Mount Emei Emeiquan. It has a variety of forms such as White ape Link forms, and Five Elements Link forms. Its characteristics are as follows: The wrist is like a brocade, both arms are like whips, bodywork like a snake, legs like drills, hands like lightning, and eyes are like electricity.
It’s fierce, fast, and hard, with sharp flicking movements.
十Baji fist
It was passed on by a Taoist priest named Lai to Wu Zhong of the Hebei Province Qingyun town Hou zhuang ke village. Ba Ji fist opens eight to six strokes for the technical core, bold, simple and practical with great power, Ba Ji Quan belongs to bunt boxing which makes it a strong martial fist.
十一Wudang fist
Wudang Mountain is located in DanKou city of north-west Hubei Province of China. It is the birthplace of famous Taoist mountains and the Wudang Boxing. Wudang boxing was created by Zhang San-feng at the end of Yuan dynasty and the beginning of Ming dynasty. Its characteristics are based on the Ying and Yang and boxing in a round soft movement to motivate Qi by the mind and in turn circulate the qi through the body to defeat the oppeant by effortless force. The technique focuses on internal force to produce the outer force. The examples of fist of wudang are, Wudang Eight Immortals Drunken, Dragon of Wudang, Wudang long boxing, Xuanzhen boxing, Wudang Bagua , threw hand mantis boxing boxing billiards.
十二DaCheng boxing
Dacheng boxing is created by Mr. Wang Xiangzhai. Who came from Shen town of Hebei Province of China.. The features of the boxing are the power can not be the power is also empty; one kind of power does not work. The course includes pilot strength test Zhan Zhuang pushing hand-made acoustic walk Sanshou training methods, etc., to bunt-based boxing
十三GongLi Boxing
Plum palm, also known as Iron sand palm
Is designed as a martial arts to aid in the training of the palm. It pays great attention to dynamic and static phase, hardness and softness, off the ground force and the ability to break bricks and sticks with the bear hands.
To acheive two-finger Zen, internally and externally power must come from the core, and requires training of the breath. The body is trained outside of the traditional martial arts training exercises. The aim is to achieve internal force through external contact of the palm this is a remarkable skill. An organic combination of boxing and the power to achieve gas-consistent in two-finger and producing power.
